Thanks for sharing these photos. So colourful. But I don't relish the idea of doing CNY. Scared of crowds and the blaring of CNY songs drive me crazy; Even worse than the endless X'mas carols at shopping centres.

Wow, beautiful bright cheery CNY photos! Haven't been to such CNY stalls in years though. Maybe next year. :)

1.Hi James

Looking at these photos brings back nostalgic feelings of doing CNY shopping in Chinatown. Although things are getting more modern but some traditional things like red lanterns, pink flowers and silk cheongsams that adorned the streets stalls still remains!

Thanks Chun See. The traditional CNY shopping at Chinatown will be as colorful, as bright, as exciting for everyone young and elderly. The crazy atmosphere comes only one a year for these festivities. Cheers!

Thanks Ipohgal for sharing the sentiments of CNY. Pls share with us the traditional CNY in Ipoh Chinatown with photos and memories.
I've not been to Ipoh for many years but I love the simple, place with friendly people everywhere. Missed the "hiong pheng biscuits" . Cheers!
